MusicWorks is a parent organization which, in partnership with the Nyack Public School District, seeks to support and enhance the music department and increase community awareness of its programs by:

• Providing opportunities for students to perform in a wide variety of settings by arranging for concerts in the community.
• Raising funds so students can attend regional and national festivals.
• Ensuring that musical opportunities are available to all students (e.g., by offering scholarships for instruments and music lessons)
• Maintaining this website for families and the community.

MusicWorks believes that the benefits to our youth of performing often and participating in competitions and festivals are far-reaching, even beyond building self-esteem and confidence as performers.

Summer 2023 – Nyack Summer Music Camp 2023

From traditional instruments to music technology, our Nyack Summer Music Camp campers are getting into the groove! Small group instruction allows for focusing on technical skill, while ensemble performances showcase the collective talent of our student musicians. In addition to our music educators, Nyack High School performers serve as mentors for younger players and vocalists throughout the session.
